For the third year in a row the Over Bored team would visit Miami, Oklahoma to take part in one of the biggest summer events on the schedule. The line ups are always tough and the action is always exciting in Miami so the team was aiming for a strong performance on the weekend as they competed for the King of Miami honors.

The town of Miami just happens to be the hometown of good friend Devin Jones and the Barbarian team so Jamey Garner and company knew it was going to be that much harder to pick up a win on the weekend but they were up for the challenge. Friday night would be the first of two nights of competition with each event featuring racing as well as wheelie and freestyle competitions. It would be a solid outing for the team on Friday with some good wheelies and fast racing passes followed by a high flying freestyle.

The truck was ready for battle on Saturday where once again it would be a pair of solid wheelie attempts from Garner and Over Bored to start off the event. In racing Garner was on point, as Over Bored was hooked up on the long staightline drag course. The pair would find themselves in the final round against Joe Yatsko and Hot Tamale. The final round would be all Over Bored as Garner sailed to victory by over a truck length.

Freestyle saw Garner and Over Bored close out a great weekend with another high flying performance but they wouldn’t be able to pick up the freestyle win on this night. The team was more than happy to come away with the racing victory against such a strong field of competitors.
